First, a very warm and fraternal welcome to this website to all Cryptic Masons of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Portugal. Second, to all Cryptic Masons around the globe a sincere and fraternal embrace in Faith. A fraternal embrace also to all those who are not Freemasons and who arrived at this page by chance or simply because they are interested in knowing more about York Rite Freemasonry in general or, in particular, about Cryptic Freemasonry.
On this website you can find information, programs and projects that exemplify all that we aspire to be, good men who intend and desire to be even better through the traditions and lessons of the Cryptic Rite of York Rite Freemasonry.
We hope that this website, now updated, can become an efficient and effective vehicle of information for all Companions of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Portugal, but also a simple way to communicate the sometimes misunderstood message of Freemasonry.
To all those who are not Masons but who are somehow interested in obtaining more information on a subject, sometimes so poorly treated and so subject to prejudice, and which most of the time has nothing to do with reality, we hope that they can find on this platform, the answers to some of their doubts, questions or simple curiosity about Freemasonry in general, and in particular about Freemasonry of the York Rite and the Cryptic Rite.
